ArmchairBEA day 2- Best of 2012.

Today's subject for day 2, which i am late in doing in UK time since i have 30minutes until it is day 3, by he time this is posted i hope that it is still day 2.  So, as most of you know the subject is to share some of your favourite books from 2012 and/or some of the books promoted by the BEA that you want to read.

Now i apologise in advance, I only started blogging within the last 6weeks-maybe a lil bit longer and i have been on a complete whirlwind journey since then and my eyes have being opened up to the delights of the book world, and of genres i would never have considered.  This has meant that a lot of the 'big' titles of 2012 i have not read, BUT i do have them on my TBR list.  Therefore, i have included some of my favourite books that were out prior to 2012 but i have read them this year.  Also, of course, there is some books from 2012 and i've included some books i would like from the BEA. What a task i had to find those!!! I didn't even know where to look for the titles!

ok so here we are.........

The books i am interested in from the BEA, i have only picked 3 since the list above is so big, and these are;

That is all..........argh....... this post has driven me to the edge. If it ooks a mess i am sorry, i seriously have had enough of trying to get the images in at th right size and place without them jumping all over and it has being a nightmare. I need to learn more about adding these images.  This post has taken me soooo long.  I have done nothing i planned today with the armchair BEA :( because sometimes there is not enough hours in the day :(.

    1. Hi hun *waves* i said on your post that we had a few in common on our list hehe. I want a physical copy of saving june because i would re-read that actually lol. I will check that out and more than likely add it to the list lol. It might even be on there as i have heard great things :) You right, damn technology or maybe it just because of the user that there is a problem lol. I am a true novice at this but thanks for your info about the GR widgets x

  2. Aww, it looks great. I hate adding picks to my blog too. I'm used to being able to totally manipulate graphics and put them exactly where I want them. Working on my blog can be frustrating from a design stand point. On the plus side, you have some great books to chose from. I went a bit over board, but then, I've read almost 100 books so far this year so I had plenty to chose from. I'm also kind of eclectic when it comes to reading. Enjoy the rest of the week!

Pictures and blogs doesn't work, you are great with all this graphic stuff, o just refer to it all as technology and i have no clue about none of it lol. You do have a lot of book there but was only to be expected when you have read that much :) xx enjoy this week x

    1. Hi, thank you for stopping by :) You seem to like my list of book, that's fab :) Yes Saving June was an unexpected delight that has left an impression on me, i have to get a physical copy so that i can devour it again slowly lol. Hourglass....i'm over half way and LOVING it, i would be finished by now but this blog event has slowed me down lol. I have Timepliece next to review and i can't wait to read it :) I got recommended the Kevin book at book last year and i read it before the film came out but had to add it here because this book has so many different levels to it and I believe that Lionel Shriver writing is so unique that it makes the book outstanding! I have not watched the film, not sure i want too :/ x

  7. The cover of BlackBirds is amazing! I loved ROOM- I have the white cover with "room" written in kids crayon... I hadn't seen your cover & it took me a minute to even realize what book it was!

    I'm interested in reading "We Need to Talk About Kevin"... it is on my TBR

    1. Blackbirds is an amazing book,i got it as an arc but i am def going to buy it for the cover haha.
      Yes i have seen that cover of 'Room' and i like it better than our version, i think this one is meant to be the room in which they were trapped in the garden.
      Definitely read 'We need to talk about kevin'. It took me a while to get used to Lionel Shiver's writing style but when i did i was hooked. You have to allow yourself time to get into the book xx

  9. The post looks really pretty - so it turned out well! I know how it is when images don't cooperate though, it sucks and blogger is not the most cooperative as it is, always adding extra crap in! OK better stop before I go into a rant about blogger haha

    Blackbirds was also my blogging partner's favs from this year too, it looks and sounds so good I'm definitely planning on reading it sometime soon! Hourglass (just bought it, your blog jogged my memory that it's on sale for the nook so I went and snagged myself a copy! haha) I've not heard of The Midwive's Confession before but it sounds interesting! It sounds like it might be suspenseful?

    I'm looking forward to reading Beta too, it looks amazingtastic :D

    So great to meet you - I look forward to dropping by more often! Going to add you to my RSS feed :D
